Continuing Medical Education
An Accredited Program
for Emergency Room Professionals
At Premier Physician Services, our goal is to cultivate long-term relationships with our physicians and to give them the tools and training they need to achieve the highest level of professional success and satisfaction. That is why we offer one of the profession’s most comprehensive continuing medical education programs.
Under the direction of Jerry Tasset, MD, PhD, FACEP, the Premier CME program provides more than 85 hours of Continuing Medical Education/Continuing Education Units to our emergency medicine and hospitalist physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners at little or no cost to the provider. This includes 25 Category I CME hours.
Classes to Improve & Enhance
Employing traditional and innovative teaching methods, our continuing medical education courses focus on risk management, clinical competency and clinical procedures. The goal of the program is to improve the consistency of our clinical practice and enhance the quality of care in the emergency department and other hospital-based services.
Premier Physician Services is accredited by the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) as a Continuing Medical Education provider.
Classes include:
- PALS/ACLS Re-Certification
- Risk Management Lectures
- Documentation
- Patient Satisfaction Programs
- Emergency Procedures Course and Skills Lab.
Continuing medical education courses are held at our corporate office in Dayton, Ohio; online; at Ohio ACEP in Columbus, Ohio; at Wright State University in Dayton; and at our annual shareholders' meetings.
We provide a stipend to many of our clinicians. These funds can be used for continuing medical education tuition and travel, if desired.
